Part-Time Youth Director at Athens Chinese Christian Church

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Youth Director to lead our youth ministry. The ideal candidate should have a deep passion for discipleship, a profound love for the youth, and a strong aspiration to nurture their spiritual growth in their journey with Jesus. This is a part-time role with flexible working hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide spiritual guidance, mentorship, and teachings base on biblical principles to our youth.
  • Develop engaging youth programs, events, and activities that guide them in their walk with Christ.
  • Cultivate meaningful relationships with our youth to foster their spiritual growth.
  • Collaborate with the pastor, church leaders, and members to create a nurturing environment for youth.
  • Establish connections with local churches and communities to extend our reach to the youth in our area.
  • Remain readily available to listen, counsel and pray with youth and their families as needed.

    • Qualifications:

  • A strong personal relationship with Jesus and a commitment to biblical truth.
  • Previous experience in youth ministry or related fields preferred.
  • Desire and ability to equip youth to grow and share their faith in Christ.
  • Willingness to collaborate with the pastor, church leaders, and members.
